A true visionary in femme rap, Bahamadia rose to prominence in Philly’s hip-hop scene at age 30 with her 1996 debut LP Kollage. Yet her presence had been felt earlier; she made waves with her debut single Total Wreck, followed by Uknowhowwedu, I Confess, and Biggest Part Of Me—a steady rollout that built anticipation over two years. Now, the 45 Kings revisit her foundational sound, presenting re-edited versions of Total Wreck and Uknowhowwedu. This release also includes the rare Street Version of the A-side, originally featured on the 12” pressing.
