Q-Tip’s truly sone cold ‘Breathe & Stop’ is up first with its wigging basslines and crispy drum breaks The bars up top are smooth as you like and oft-sampled. Flip it over for the Redman joint ‘Smash Sumthin” with its splashy cymbals and hard-hitting drums underpinned by menacing bass and crowds of ‘murder.’ Delightfully dark and both well worth having in the collection in this format.
